About Me
Hello! My name is Ana D., and I am a senior at Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Massachusetts. I will be studying Cognitive and Brain Sciences on the Pre-Medicine track at Tufts University in the fall. I signed up for senior project in the spring because I knew it would be the only platform that gives me the opportunity to delve into the field of neuroscience while in high school. I have a very strong interest in this subject, and I intend to study it further in college and beyond. I have always been intrigued by the human brain, but I have become even more interested in it recently, since I began learning so much more about it. I am absolutely fascinated by the seemingly endless capabilities of the human brain, and the multitude of ways that its functions can be altered. I think that the human brain is one of the most complex, intricate, and incredible bodies to ever exist, and I am eager to learn more about how its actions and occurrences explain human behavior. While there are a million things that the human brain can do and is responsible for, there are also just as many, if not more, ways that things can go wrong, and I am even more interested in those.
